Supporting Community at Christmas

Watagan Park Central was pleased to support a community initiative during the Christmas period that focused on care, connection and practical support for local families.

A long-standing Christmas food hamper program, delivered in partnership with Southlake’s Incorporated and supported by Avondale University Church, once again provided assistance to families across the local and wider community.

Our tenants played an important role in supporting the initiative. Woolworths Cooranbong contributed through food donations and discounts, while Bakers Delight Watagan Park, with the support of Sanitarium Health Food Company Australia, prepared 6,000 fresh fruit mince and lemon tarts. Each hamper included a freshly baked six-pack of tarts as a special addition for families at Christmas.

With the coordination of Southlake’s Incorporated and the support of multiple partners, food hampers were distributed to families across the community, helping to provide meaningful assistance during the festive season.
